LA Times states, $1-billion residential, hotel and retail complex is being planned south of the 10 Freeway in downtown Los Angeles as robust development promises to spread beyond the traditional boundaries of the neighborhood. The project will be called SoLA Village, but living in this area won’t come cheap. Living expenses will come very close, or comparable, to living costs on the Westside particularly Santa Monica. There are plans to develop about 84 or more new residential homes, hotels and retail. SoLA will be filled with “densely developed complex with skyscrapers and low- and mid-rise residential buildings along with outdoor plazas and terraces intended to create a pedestrian-oriented community.” This will be the perfect location for those who love the city feel, but warm climates.

Downtown LA

This is an exciting new venture and I can’t wait to see what SoLA will be in the future.
